Andrea Goretti - piano
Lisa Hofmaninger - sax
Lukas Aichinger - drums
A project that defies genre boundaries while maintaining a strong melodic identity, this trio led by Italian pianist and composer Andrea Goretti explores a unique sound world shaped by the interplay of piano, saxophone, and drums. In the absence of a bass, the music unfolds with harmonic freedom and open dialogue between the instruments. Dreamlike, lyrical compositions give way to moments of intensity and risk, always anchored by a deep focus on melody. Each musician moves fluidly between roles, blurring the lines between soloist and accompanist. The repertoire, composed entirely by Goretti, leaves ample space for improvisation, where textures evolve through subtle rhythmic, harmonic, and timbral interplay.
“A group to keep an eye on, convincing for the strength of the interplay, the complicity between musicians, and the intensity of the solos—sometimes experienced with deep passion and emotional depth, always matched by technical skill and inspired choices.”
—Bruno Pollacci, Anima Jazz
