[DO, 06. Juni 20:00] Mit großer Freude präsentieren wir auch heuer gemeinsam mit der MUK - Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien spannenden jungen Jazz!
Mit dem Composers Ensemble unter der Leitung von Andy Middleton heißen wir eine ganz besondere Formation im ZWE herzlich willkommen und freuen uns auf eine spannende Darbietung mit Neža Okorn & Lara Kalapiš, vocals; Lukas Mauritz, trumpet; Márton Papp, Martin Gorospe & Milos Milojevic, reeds; Jure Pisek, guitar; Florian Reider, piano; Vuk Vasilic, bass & Jakob Zallinger, drums!

Back in the 1990’s the Wayne Brasel Quartet was a frequent attraction at many of Vienna’s top jazz venues where they played regularly at Porgy and Bess, Jazz Spelunke, Jazzland and often at Reigen Live ! On June 6th they will be returning to Vienna and to Reigen to perform the music from Brasel’s two CD’s “ The Note You Left” and “The Beatnik Walk”. Wayne will have with him the original line-up from the “ Note You Left” CD, drummer Jeff Boudreaux and bassist Uli Langthaler plus saxophonist Heinrich von Kalnein (also no stranger to the Vienna jazz scene) This concert is certain to be the meeting of great music , old friends and new fans.
