American jazz singer Margaret Carter brings a rich, warm voice and an unmistakably soulful presence to jazz and blues. Originally from North Carolina, she has been singing since childhood and later studied jazz with the legendary Elly Wright. A longtime Vienna performer, Carter has appeared at clubs and concert venues throughout the city, combining an intimate style with a deep feel for the classic jazz and blues repertoire.

Larry Lofquist, pianist and composer from Detroit, has been making music for most of his life. After touring Europe with the U.S. Army Band, he became active in the Boston jazz scene before living and working in New York and Rio de Janeiro. Since settling in Vienna, he has performed with numerous distinguished jazz artists and has become particularly known for his sensitive accompaniment of singers. His playing combines spare textures, rich harmony, and a strong love of melody.

The Raphael Käfer Quartet explores the space between structure and freedom, intimacy and sonic

intensity. Rooted in contemporary jazz while transcending stylistic boundaries, the ensemble creates

immersive soundscapes and grooves shaped by collective improvisation and expressive interplay.

Led by guitarist and composer Raphael Käfer, alongside Urs Hager (piano), Mik Acker (bass), and

Matheus Jardim (drums), the quartet creates music defined by nuance, spontaneity, and a constant

spirit of exploration.

Die Band debütierte am 10. Juli 2022 als erste Indie-Folk-Band aus Rumänien. Ihr Debütsong „Warm Freeze“ hat innerhalb von 10 Tagen über 20.000 Aufrufe auf YouTube erreicht und ist bei siebenbürgischen Radiosendern sehr beliebt.Die Band Mano & Gregor wurde mit dem Ziel gegründet, den der breiten Öffentlichkeit bereits bekannten Indie-Folk-Musikstil in einer qualitativ hochwertigen Show nach Rumänien zu bringen. Nach 16 Jahren Freundschaft beschlossen „Mano“ Botond Ráduly und „Gregor“ Gerg? Petri, ein ungewöhnliches und farbenfrohes Musikprojekt zu verwirklichen, nicht nur musikalisch, sondern auch in Bezug auf die Herangehensweise, bei der die Botschaften der Lieder genauso wichtig sind wie die Musik selbst. Im Jahr 2023 veröffentlichte die Band ihr zweites großes Video mit dem Titel Look Into My Eyes, in dem sie mit Hilfe der wichtigsten NGOs in Klausenburg einen lebendigen Hashtag mit etwa 300 Menschen bildeten. Damit wurde das erste mit einem Flashmob verbundene Video im Land veröffentlicht. Ebenfalls 2023 spielte die Band auf dem Smart Fest im Vorprogramm von Carla’s Dreams und auf dem Egyfeszt im Vorprogramm von Zdob und Zdub, zwei der beliebtesten Bands Rumäniens.
